WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27th @ 8:00PM at the church.

Our meeting for January will be “Buyer Remorse or Worse”.  Did you get a gift over the holidays of magic that just didn’t appear magical?  Did you buy an item and think “cool” and found out it wasn’t – well, we all have done it, so now we will all share our horror story and show the items that failed to meet our expectations – for any reason.  I know you all have a bottom drawer full of things that sounded great in the catalog (print or online) but that just sat there in the box when you first opened it and… failed to inspire us. If we were especially unfortunate, we actually tried this...thing...out on an audience before discovering the error of our ways. Admit it, you've had this experience.

The meeting is to be a lighthearted, good-natured look not only at the great flops in our lives, but also a chance to explore how these things might be redeemed. It's usually a long shot, but it is fun to speculate, and it can lead to some creativity.

Also – just a reminder – dues are to be paid for 2010 at the January meeting.  

We are running low on our funds and your dues help keep us going!  

I know it’s a tough economic time for all of us and understand the assembly may be a luxury item, but please support our club!
